We were born retired

Today I woke up with a question from my daughter Fernanda about retirement, because I asked her to go slowly in some situation because she was born retired.

She didn’t like in first moment about it, because retired relates the idea that not contribute more for the society in the common sense, it’s complete wrong.

First, the parents and the government are responsible for children growing into adult life, then when they are going to university there are financial resources etc.

So, for many years I heard we should work for a cause, but just now I noticed most of the time I was retired and I worked because I like and I will continue to work until my oldest age.
